Account Information
HOME represents a default landing location when a user logs into the portal; it displays key information about the user. At the top of Home, account address and account technical information for the user is displayed. In addition, a listing of the configured devices (physical phones or softphones) and their status in the system. The account and technical information is created by the account administrator when the account is created and does not need to be edited on a regular basis.
There is a single function the user can implement from the portal – reboot a device. This is a common function necessary for directory updates to take immediate effect, or to resolve connectivity or other technical issues. This is a remote substitute for having to physically press reboot buttons on the phone.
Messages
Underneath the user information tile is the messages tile. This tile displays the number of messages by type of message. The information covers:
