Once you have added an Audio Conferencing service to your Profile, you will need to generate a new conference which will automatically email the conference room admin with the Audio Conference information (dial-in numbers, the leader code, and the participant code that will need to be communicated to the participants).
You can generate as many conferences as you need.
Steps to follow:
First, as an account administrator you will need to log on to your web portal, choose the Conferencing Service, and then navigate to "Conferencing" - "Settings".
Next, click "Generate New Conference".
1. Enter a name for the "Tag"(this will identify calls to this specific conference in your conferencing usage history, very helpful if you have multiple conferences!).
2. Fill out the email address of the administrator of this conference.
3. By default it is "never expiry", if you need to change this un-check the box and select a calendar date/time.
4. Click Save, this will send immediately the email with the information to the admin.
Your leader will receive an information email with all the information they need to start the conference.
We recommend that the leader keeps a copy of it as a reminder of the dial-in numbers, codes, and menu options.
Note: Please remember that the Leader code is confidential and not to be shared with participants.
Tip: If you have a Cloud PBX Service and an Audio Conferencing Service, our Support Team can import all or selected Cloud PBX Users to each receive their own Conference Leader code. This can be a much more efficient way to get your users the info they need, without having to manually generate them one by one. Tip: You can view all the existing conferences under 'Conferencing - Settings' .
If one of the Conference administrators needs to receive the information email again, edit the Conference, and simply click 'Save' again.
Click ''Save'', and the information email will be sent off again.
