Making Calls |
1. Handsfree
- Dial the number to call
- Press the Dial / right arrow key
OR
- Press the handsfree key
- Dial the number to call
2. Using Handset
- Pick up the handset
- Dial the number to call
3. Call back a recently dialed phone number
- Press the redial key
- Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to browse the list
- To dial the displayed number, press the handsfree key
- Pick up the handset if handsfree is not desired
4. Call a phone number from Call History (Incoming/Missed Calls)
- Press the Callers / key
- Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to browse the list
- To dial the displayed number, press the handsfree key
- Pick up the handset if handsfree is not desired
Transfer Calls |
1. Blind Transfer
- Press the Transfer/Xfer/ key
- Dial the extension number of the person you need to transfer the call to
- Press the Transfer/Xfer/ key again.
2. Consultative Transfer
- Press the Transfer/Xfer/ key
- Dial the extension number of the person you need to transfer the call to
- Press the Dial / right arrow key
- Announce the caller to the person at the extension you are going to transfer the call to
- Press the Transfer/Xfer/ key again to complete the transfer.
Conference Calls |
- Press the Conference / Conf / key
- The person already on the call (party A) is put on hold
- Dial the extension number of the person (party B) you want to conference in
- Press the Dial / right arrow key
- Announce to party B that you will conference him/her into the call
- Press the Conference / Conf / key again to be with both party A and B in the conference.
NOTE: You can use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to scroll through and see the numbers/
names of the parties in the conference call.
Pressing the Dial / right arrow key will drop the selected party from the call.

Basic Call Handling |
Making a call:
1. Lift the handset, press a Line key, or press the key.
2. Dial the number from the keypad and press the "Dial" soft key.
OR
Dial the number first and then press the key or the "Dial" softkey.
Ending a call: Place the handset on its cradle or press the key
Answering a call:
Lift the handset for handset operation
OR
Press the "Answer" soft key.
OR
Press the Line key to answer a second incoming call.
OR
Press the key for hands-free operation.
Note: You can press the "Silence" key to silence the ringing on the incoming call.
Ignoring a call:
Press the key.
OR
Press the "Reject" softkey when the phone is ringing to ignore the incoming call and
(if configured) send the incoming call directly to voicemail.
Redialing:
1. Press the key once to access a list of recently dialed numbers.
2. Use the Up and Down navigation keys to scroll through the entries
OR
Directly touch on the desired entry list.
3. Pick up the handset.
OR
4. Press the key to redial the selected number using hands free mode.
Note: Press the key twice to call the last dialed number.
Muting: Press the key or the "Mute" softkey to mute the handset, headset, or speakerphone.
Holding and Resuming:
1. To place a call on hold, press the key or the "Hold" softkey when connected to the call.
2. To resume the call, press the or the "Hold" softkey again.
OR
Press the Line key corresponding to the line where the call is being held.
Advanced Call Handling |
Call Transferring:
1. Ensure you are on active call with the party you wish to transfer.
2. If you are already connected to the transfer recipient, press the Up and Down navigation keys to highlight the recipient and press the transfer key to complete the call transfer.
OR
If you are not connected to the transfer recipient, press the transfer key , enter the recipient’s number and press the "dial" soft key. At any time, press the transfer key again to complete the call transfer.
3-Way Conferencing:
1. Ensure you are on active call with one of the parties with whom you wish to create a conference.
2. If you are already connected to the party you wish to conference in, press the Up and
Down navigation keys to highlight the conference target and press the key or
softkey to complete the 3-way conference.
OR
If you are not connected to the party you wish to conference in, press the key or "Conf" softkey, enter the conference target’s number and press the "Conf" softkey.
At any time, press the key or "Conf" softkey again to complete the 3-way conference.
If you are not connected to the party you wish to conference in, p, press the key or "Conf" softkey, enter the conference. You can view the numbers and names (if available) of the parties in the conference call on the screen. When a name is displayed, pressing drops the displayed party from the call.
Using the Directory:
1. Press the key to access the Directory.
2. Scroll through the list by pressing the Up and Down navigation keys or press the "search" softkey to enter characters using the keypad to use the search feature.
3. When the desired entry is highlighted, press the "Dial" softkey to place a call using the
entry’s default phone number. If you would like to place a call to a different phone number
attached to the entry (if applicable), select the proper box indicating the number on the
upper left corner of the display and press the "Dial" softkey.
Using the Callers List:
1. Press the key to access the Callers List.
2. Scroll through the list by pressing the Up and Down navigation keys.
OR
Directly select the desired number appearing in the boxes on the left side of the display.
3. Press the "dial" softkey to place a call to the respective entry.
OR
Press the "delete" softkey to delete the number from the list.

Call Transferring:
1. Ensure you are on active call with the party you wish to transfer.
2. If you are already connected to the transfer recipient, press the Up and Down navigation keys to highlight the recipient and press the transfer key / Xfer key to complete the call transfer.

If you are not connected to the transfer recipient, press the transfer key / Xfer key , enter the recipient’s number and press the "dial" soft key. At any time, press the transfer key again to complete the call transfer.
3-Way Conferencing:
1. When you begin a conference, you are the first party in the conference (Party 1).
Pickup the handset or press the key. A line opens up.
2. Call Party 2 by dialing their number (or answer an incoming call of a Party).
3. Wait for Party 2 to answer. When Party 2 answers, you can consult with them before
adding them to the conference.
4. Press the key.
5. Enter the phone number of Party 3
NOTE: You are able to edit the destination number by pressing the 3 navigation key,
which acts as a Backspace key.
6. Wait for Party 3 to answer. When Party 3 answers, you can consult with them before
adding them to the conference.
7. Press the key again to add Party 3 to the conference. Party 1 (which is yourself),
Party 2, and Party 3 are all connected to a single conference.
8. To drop a party from the conference, use the Up or Down navigation key to
select the party and press the Drop key
Using the Directory:
1. Press the programmed Directory key.
2. Scroll through the list by pressing the Up and Down navigation keys.
3 Press the Select key to place a call to the respective entry
Using the Callers List:
1. Press the key to access the Callers List.
2. Scroll through the list by pressing the Up or Down navigation keys.
3. Press the Select key to place a call to the respective entry.
